  • Your name and email address (when you join our waiting list)
  • Your child's age (optional, provided voluntarily)
  • Device and usage data collected automatically via cookies and analytics
  • Location data associated with a child's Little Beacon device (only when the device is in use and a call is placed)

3. How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

Little Beacon is a product designed for children, and we take children's privacy extremely seriously. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. All account registration and data collection is performed by a parent or guardian. Location data from a child's device is shared only with the parent or guardian account linked to that device, and only when the child initiates a call.

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for marketing communications and optional data such as your child's age
  • Legitimate interests — for analytics and improving our services
  • Contract performance — to fulfil your order and provide the Little Beacon service
  • Legal obligation — where required by law

6. Cookies

We use cookies to analyse website traffic and optimise your experience. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the cookie banner when you first visit our site. Essential cookies required for the site to function cannot be disabled.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our website and services (for example, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing). All third parties are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law.

8. Data retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Waiting list data will be deleted within 12 months of the product launch if you have not made a purchase.
